Individual Consultations

One-on-one sessions for individual athletes

Service Description

Are you struggling to translate great practices into great performances? Maybe you want to improve confidence or motivation? Maybe you are dealing with injury or struggling to stay focused? Or maybe you are just trying to improve your mental game and take your performances to the next level. These individual sessions are designed to identify areas in which you want to improve, and provide practical support and tools grounded in research to help you achieve those goals. The first individual meeting (approx, 20 minutes) will always be free and allow us a chance to get to know each other, for me to understand what you are looking for, how I can meet your needs, and to explore our professional working relationship. Following this will be one (possibly two) session(s) in which I aim to get a comprehensive understanding of you and your sporting background. These are usually a little longer (60-90 minutes). Following this will be regular 50-60 minute consulting sessions where we address your identified areas for improvement and desired goals. While you may see some benefits after meeting just once or twice, mental performance consulting is not a 'quick fix' and it is recommended that clients consider the six-session package deal (save 10%) to really get the most out of consultations. Like physical training, mental training also needs dedicated time and consistency to be most effective.
